This is the Second Light Festival Staro Rīga. The second year in the row for five days in November Rīga will be made much brighter by the Light Festival Staro Rīga (Riga Shines). It is illumination in various techniques to see unique objects of the art of light.

I'll try to make video

All the objects of the light festival will be displayed every evening from 18:00 to 23:00. Over the five days from 14th-18th of November of the festival there will be light objects in the streets, parks and squares of the city

During the light festival on November 14, fifteen museums of Rīga will participate in the festival with a special project “In the light of museums”, which provides special programs and discount for the entrance fees.
The light festival is organized by Riga City Council’s Department of Culture and event producer “Untitled”.

Here I am in one of streets - Arsenala (Armoury street) in Old Riga near bank of the river Daugava. In Middle Ages in this street goods from ships were uploaded with special pulley in storehouses.
